The Twister Blankets & Hoods
Measuring for a blanket or sheet: All of our blankets and sheets are sized every 2". To measure your horse from the middle of the chest around the side to the middle of the tail at the widest part of your horse. This length measurement to the next even number is what size blanket you need. (Height of the horse doesn't matter). Remember to allow for winter fur. Usually you need one size bigger with a full coat of fur.

The Whirlwind Twister II - 1000 Denier Cordura® Nylon Blanket

When temperatures dip below your horses' comfort zone, we offer the Whirlwind Twister II. Triple L has updated this wonderful blanket and it is now not quilted and is made of 1000 denier Cordura® nylon lined with Thinsulate® Insulation. For cozy warmth without the restrictions of bulk, this slim and trim blanket has what you need. Closed front, belly band and darted rump with tail cover. Black trim.

The Arctic Twister - Waterproof, Windproof, Breathable Blanket

After years of searching, we finally found the perfect fabric for a waterproof, windproof, breathable blanket. Blizzards, wind-chill, frost... if this describes your winter; your horse needs the Arctic Twister.

This incredible new coating of Hyrtel® waterproof breathable technology by DuPont, sealed on 1000 denier Cordura®. This provides everything you have been looking for, including the water and stain repellent coating on the outer shell. This microporous structure facilitates the flow of moisture vapors away. 340 grams of fiberfill backed with show coat lining. Standard features include: cut-back neck with polar to avoid mane rubbing, double closure system on front and bellyband and full tail piece.
