For Sale

Lilac Meadows Miniature Horses offers the following Show Miniatures for sale

On May 23, the company I work for droped a bombshell on me. They are moving the accounting department to Illinois and I won't have a job after 12/31/08. After much consideration, we are going to move to the midwest where there are more jobs and reasonable home prices. I have also decided I must focus more on my career and I won't have time for raising foals or going to multiple shows. I'm going to geld my champion driving stallion and keep one of the mares for companion and I need to find great homes for the rest of my lovely mares.

Prices listed below are negotiable and package deals are available. Transportation options available within neighboring states. Payment plans can be arrange with a $200 non-refundable deposit and the horse must remain on my property until paid for (A third party can be arrange to hold the payments and registration papers if necessary). All horses are sold as is.

Registered: AMHR
Height: 34.75"
Foaled: May 16, 2002
Sire: Subras Foxfire
Dam: DD Pretty Breeze (HOF)

Fancee is a really nice looking mare with a beautiful head and a big trot. Her Sire, Supra Foxfire is a multiple Champion Stallion and producer of multiple champion foals. Her Dam, DD Pretty Breeze, was inducted into National Hall of Fame (Halter) in 1998! She was Both NATIONAL TOP 10 ALL STAR and NATIONAL SHOW TOP 10 in: Open Pleasure Driving, Senior Mare (B Division), & Model Mare.

Fancee has produced two fillies. Her first in 2005, a beautiful Dun Pinto Filly, Lilac Meadows Lil' Jacqueline. I showed her daughter as a yearling and she won won a Supreme Champion and many champion and reserve champion halter awards. See Jackie's page for more information. Her second filly, born this year, is a gorgeous silver bay filly out of my HOF stallion. See above and our foal page for more details. Fancee is a easy foaler and a good mother. A valuable addition to any farm.

Fancee has exceeded my expectations in the show ring and it has been a difficult decision to offer her for sale. She won Supreme Champion, Grand Champion, & multiple Senior grand & reserve grand titles. The was Reserve Champion All-Star for Amateur Obstacle - Under and even placed 1st & 2nd in her two liberty classes. I have not bred Fancee back for a 2008 foal in case her purchaser would like to train her to the cart and show her in 2008.

Lilac Meadows Lil' Fancee May

Filly
Color: Chestnut/Flaxen Mane & Tail
Registered: AMHR
Height: should mature 35 - 36"
Foaled: May 2, 2007
Sire: Wood's Apache's Chief (HOF)
Dam: Loranes Lil' Fire Hot Facination

May is a beautiful correct little show filly. She should mature a small B just right for driving, performance and halter then later to add to your breeding herd. Her Sire earned his Hall of Fame in Pleasure Driving in 2006 and is also a National Top Three in Ladies Country Pleasure Driving, Under and National Champion All-Star in Ladies Pleasure Driving, Under. He is also multi-champion & reserve champion in Halter. Her Dam has won a Halter Supreme Championship and is a multi-grand & reserve champion as well as Reserve National Champion All-Star in Amateur Obstacle, Over.

May has an energetic personality. She is very smart and loves to check everything out. She has great action and will do very well in the show ring. Her current coat color appears to be chestnut with a flaxen mane & tail, but she could be hiding the silver gene. If color is important to your breeding program I will be happy to send a hair sample to her potential purchaser to be tested.

Squires Classy Lady

Mare
Color: Buckskin
Registered: AMHR/AMHA(possible)
Height: 33.25"
Foaled: March 25, 1993
Sire: Sire: Dell Teras Topper out of Dell Teras Moon Man
Dam: Dam: ARC Half Pint

Lady is a wonderful little mare. Her bloodlines go back to Dell Teras Moon Man, Stouts Mister Pride and Stouts Mona Lisa. Lady has a wonderful personality, great conformation and a beautiful head with large eyes. Lady started her driving training in the fall of 2004 and she took to it very quickly. She is also trained in Halter, Showmanship, Obstacle and Jumping. In 2006 she was shown by a 13 year old youth and myself in a few shows. She performed very well in obstacle, county-pleasure driving, showmanship, and solid color mare winning multiple firsts and at her second show driving, she even was 2nd under both judges in Country Pleasure Driving Stakes, under.

Lady’s life for many years has been raising babies. Unfortunately she lost her colt in 2003 due to a rare dorsal-transverse presentation, after many rebreeding attempts she had a beautiful buckskin filly out of my Driving Champion Stallion on in 2007. Unfortunately, Lady had multiple pregnancy related health issues and it has been recommended that she not be bred again. She is being sold as a youth or amateur show mare or family miniature. She has been driving in a parade and I believe she can be trained for leadline.

Lady is up to date on her shots and worming. She stands quietly for hoof trimming, body shaving (even ears and legs), and bathing. Loads and hauls easy.

** Price Reduced ** $800

KLS Toy4U to Envy

Mare
Color: Chestnut w/ Flaxen Mane & Tail - Minimally Marked Sabino-Overo Pinto
Registered: AMHR/AMHA
Height: 32"
Foaled: April 12, 2002
Sire: Lucky Four Haligonian Highlite (HOF)
Dam: Hartins Toys Dream Lover out of Bond AToy4U C

Envy is a sweet little mare. She is a multi-Grand Champion halter winner. She is National Top 10 All-Stars in Amateur Obstacle Under and Aged Mare 30 - 32". She was also Wild West Miniature Horse Club's overall High Point Halter Horse for 2006. Her specialty is obstacle and could easily do well at the national level in obstacle. Currently I'm training her for hunter/jumper and also driving.

Envy loves the babies and someday would like one of her own. With her champion background and champion show record she is sure to have very nice foals. Also since she is a chestnut she would be a valuable addition to any color breeding program.
