Rhett is a wonderful miniature horse. He is smart, athletic and has a wonderful disposition. He has a big horse look in miniature size which attracts attention wherever he goes. I was fortunate to find Rhett, he did not fit into the color program where he was living. 2003 was his first year with me and we both learned a lot. He loves to jump and has great potential for jumping and obstacle. In 2004 we had the opportunity to attend 2 fun shows and 2 AMHR shows. Rhett won many classes and placed high in others. 2005 was a great year for Rhett, He excelled in his driving and earned 7 stakes wins and 59 Hall of Fame points in the Pleasure Driving and Country Pleasure Driving Categories. With the help of his driving trainer, Lori Villalpando from Pheasant Run Stables in Utah, Rhett was 3rd out of 50+ horses at AMHR Nationals in Ladies Country Pleasure Driving under and 6th out of 86 horses in Amateur Ladies Country Pleasure Driving under as well as 8th in the Stakes Championship. In 2006 Rhett adds 3 more pleasure driving stakes wins and many points to his show record and completed his Hall of Fame for Pleasure Driving! We started showing and winning in Versatilily and Roadster this year. He continues to proving himself comptetive in Halter, Showmanship, Obstacle, Hunter and Jumping. Rhett has also earned several high point awards over the past show seasons. In 2007, Rhett sired his first two foals - Beautiful fillies. Both have been blessed with great action, personalities and confirmation. See Rose's page and May's page for more details. Rhett was gelding in late 2008, I'm looking forward to show him as a gelding in 2009. **News Flash** Rhett's daughter Rose won Champion halter junior mare at the Wild West Miniature hose club schooling show. Rose won her Amateur Obstacle over classes at the Missoula show and was Reserve Junior Champion Over. May, Rhett's other daughter places in liberty, color & halter. Rhett won his second Hall of Fame in Country Pleasure Driving first show of the 2009 season. We hope to complete his Hall of Fame in Roaster in 2011. |
